For the first time, Walmart.com has a dedicated online shopping section.
You’ll find everything from clothes to furniture to electronics to cars, as well as some of the biggest names in electronics.
It’s a welcome change for customers who had to find their way to online stores.
“The Walmart store has always been the place to go to get stuff, so it’s just a huge boost for us,” says Jocelyn Coyle, who works in sales for Walmart in New Jersey.
“There are so many places to go online.”
The online shopping portion of Walmart.org offers everything from online gift cards to gift certificates for big purchases like a home or car, as the company describes it.
It also lets customers shop online and receive a gift receipt at the store, where they can also pay with cash or credit card.
“If you’re looking for something, and you know what you’re searching for, then you can find it,” Coyle says.
“If you don’t know what that is, you can’t buy it.”
But while the Walmart.tv online shopping store is now available to everyone, the online gift certificates section will be free for customers.
Walmart.com said it will be adding gift certificates to its online shopping offerings by the end of the year.
The gift certificates will allow customers to make purchases with cash, debit card, or credit cards.
“We are adding gift cards on the Walmart site so that you can get gift certificates at checkout,” a Walmart spokesperson told The Huffington Post.
“The Walmart gift certificate will be available to the general public in the near future.
It will be a new addition to our gift card program and will be for use at Walmart stores in the United States and Canada.”
